Mrs. Tracey Antestenis
Instructor
Tracey is currently pursuing an Associates degree in Studio Art at HCC. She earned a BA in Speech Communication and a minor in History from Miami University in Ohio. Her professional life in Houston includes administrative recruiting and 20+ years in Christian ministry as an Executive Assistant for Young Life and The Gathering of Men. She is the wife of 33 years to Alex and mom of young adult twins, Gus and Ellie.
Blessed to discover Bluebonnet through good friend, Robin Brady, Tracey volunteered as a teaching assistant in Form 2 Art Explorations for the duration of the 2023-2024 year. She has a lifelong passion for watching others create art and find their own joy in that process. Tracey loves to encourage and find ways to problem solve. She has been a student of oil painting, drawing, watercolor, and design. She also loves to study Art History and is an avid museum visitor.
Tracey is a member of The Story Church and two Bible studies. She is a board member of Theology by the Pint, a non-profit organization that gathers people over craft beer and good food to discuss interesting and often controversial topics of Christian theology, philosophy, faith, and culture. In her spare time Tracey enjoys travel, movies, cooking with her family, crafting, live music, and any kind of puzzle.
