Mrs. Sophia Mallory
Youth Choir Director
Sophie Mallory graduated from Covenant College with a bachelors degree in Music specializing in Vocal Performance. She has had the privilege to sing and be a part of the Chamber Choir at Covenant college, musical theater, opera and opera scenes, numerous church choirs, and the Texas all-state choir. Sophie loves all things opera, and she has a strong passion for the stage. Sophie thoroughly enjoyed singing the role of the Queen of the Night in Mozart’s Magic Flute at Covenant College.
Since moving back to Houston, Sophie teaches private voice and piano lessons to students of all ages. She attends Southwest Presbyterian Church where she directs the children’s choir and is featured as a soloist frequently.
Sophie loves the opportunity to share the joy of singing with one another. She believes we have been given the gift of music and singing which has the potential to enlighten the hearts of others and stir souls towards Christ. Sophie hopes to engage all of her students to sing fervently with their whole hearts to the glory of God.
