BHSC is pleased to offer Public Speaking for students in Form 3-4. Taught by Mrs. Mary Jubb, whose career has given her opportunities to speak all over the world, Public Speaking will help students gain self-confidence, interpersonal skills, and leadership skills that will help them as they move into the university world and beyond. This course draws from a variety of materials and curricula to give the students a safe place to overcome the world’s most common fear (public speaking).
Materials:
Parents will need to provide the following supplies:
- Intro to Public Speaking, IEW
- a notebook, or a section of a multi-subject notebook dedicated to Public Speaking
- paper and pencils
- index cards
Students will need access to a computer and Google Classroom at home and may be required to watch assigned videos on occasion.
